World Bank Financial Management Specialists arrived in Benue State to carry out a Financial Management Supervision Mission of three World Bank-assisted projects operating within the state.





The exercise aims to ensure the projects are executed by universal best practices and World Bank standards.
The team, led by Dr. Blossom Chukwusom, engaged with staff from the various projects, including the Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (ACReSAL), the IDEAS and IMPACT Projects operating in the state at the Benue ACReSAL Conference hall.
Dr. Chukwusom emphasized the importance of adhering to established guidelines to guarantee effective and impactful implementation of the projects.
The State Project Coordinator of Benue ACReSAL, Bldr. Victor Ama welcomed the World Bank Financial Management Specialists to the state. He assured them of full cooperation throughout the visit, highlighting the commitment to transparency and accountability in project execution.
The Financial Management Supervision Mission is crucial in ensuring the continued success and sustainability of the World Bank-supported initiatives in Benue State, contributing to economic development and resilience in the state.
