In line with his campaign promises to provide a conducive environment for people living in Benue State, His Excellency Rev. Fr Hyacinth Alia since assuming office has empowered the Ministry of Water Resources, Environment, and Climate Change and BENSASA to fulfill the role of providing a clean environment and sanitation for Makurdi Metropolis and other towns in Benue State. This has resulted in a cleaner environment in Makurdi and its environs.
While assuring the State Project Management Unit of the ACReSAL Project of his support, the Governor promptly approved the allocation of office space to the Project for renovation and also approved the unfreezing of the project’s account to assist the project in the execution of its mandate. The Governor of Benue State, His Excellency Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia also assured the project team of security and an enabling environment to operate.
The Project Coordinator of ACReSAL in Benue State, Bldr. Victor Ama on behalf of the Project Team expressed gratitude to the Governor of Benue State for his quick intervention and response to the needs of the project. The Project Coordinator further assured the Governor that the project would pursue its mandate fully to bring benefits to the people of the state.
